WHY PLANTS, WHY VARIETY

Feel better now, be healthier later.

I grew up cooking, with a backyard vegetable garden and food at the center of every gathering. Early on I saw that food does more than fill us up: it’s one of the most powerful ways we take care of ourselves. After 30 years as a dietitian, my message has become simple: it’s about what you add, not what you take away. Plant variety is the easiest place to start, and it’s linked to better gut health and healthy aging.

HOW I WORK

Teaching in three ways.

I teach virtually, through my weekly Substack, the One More Plant™ course, and the mybloom™ app which I co-founded. I’m not taking one-on-one counseling clients, but everything I’d tell you in a session is in here.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

The small, real stuff.

Nothing makes me happier than cooking for family and friends, and Taco Tuesday is a must in my house. It’s my favorite way to pack in veggies and beans. I top just about everything with microgreens, hemp hearts, and pumpkin seeds, and on most days, you’ll find me at Pilates. 🧘‍♀️
